Recently, I was honored to have been able to paint Live during the game at Memorial Stadium. They had me up on the 7th Level and put the painting process on the Husker Vision screen a few time throughout the game. What a special experience I was able to enjoy with my family. Licensed prints are available for purchase here.
What a special way to celebrate the 400th consecutive sellout at Memorial Stadium! I really enjoyed reading about the challenge of painting such a large canvas live while the lighting changed from day to night. It reminds me of sports games and video games, where timing, focus, and adapting to changing conditions can make all the difference. Just like in FF Beta, every moment can bring something unexpected, but the memories and excitement are what make the experience worthwhile. Having family there and sharing the moment with a Husker legend must have made this painting even more meaningful. GBR!
